Our Diagnostic Tests
At Iverson we are continually developing new tests focusing on disorders that are preventable and treatable. Our current roster of available tests includes:
Warfarin Dosing Panel
Tests for variations in two enzymes (VKORC1 and CYP2C9) that can significantly affect Warfarin response, allowing physicians to reduce risk of bad reactions and achieve optimum dosage more quickly and with fewer tests.
Tamoxifen Responsiveness Panel
Detects
8 genetic variants that may help health care providers make more
informed choices for the treatment and prevention of breast cancer.
High Risk HPV Panel
A screening test that detects 14 different types of HPV categorized as high risk and pools them into three groups of similar strains. The test provides three “positive” or “negative” results, which can be used to determine whether further testing or clinical procedures are needed.
MTHFR Assay
Detects two key variants in the metabolism of homocysteine that are associated with coronary artery disease, thrombosis, heart attacks and strokes.
Thrombophilia Panel (Factor II / Factor V / MTHFR) These assays are used to evaluate patients at risk for venous thrombosis.
Our Latest Development
Physicians Logic Panel
A broad-spectrum RNA-based test for a variety of genetic sequences that are associated with common diseases such as asthma, autism, breast cancer, osteoporosis and others. Provides an excellent baseline for health care planning and prevention. And because the test is RNA-based, it determines whether specific genes are expressed. Trials are underway.
