Sales Representative, Pacific Northwest Region POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for all sales activities in assigned accounts or regions. Manage quality and consistency of product and service delivery. Recognize, troubleshoot, and initiate corrective action for most routine problems in a timely manner. Carry out manager or superviso's directives. Act in the best interests of patient care and Iverson Genetic Diagnostics, Inc. laboratory(s). Job duties include:
- Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients.
- Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.
- Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
- Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
- Prepare presentations, proposal and sales contracts.
- Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
- Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
- Prepare paperwork to activate and maintain contract services.
- Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-up.
- Identify client concerns, notify Bothell, WA team and resolve with assistance of the Bothell, WA team.
- Prepare a variety of status reports, including daily activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
- Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
- Coordinate company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales.
- Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce stock.
- Support the facilitation of key team, cross-functional, meetings and projects.
- Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events.
- Coordinate shipping schedules and delivery of merchandise and services.
REQUIEMENTS: Must have a minimum of three (3) years experience and success in outside life sciences sales required. Must have your own automobile, valid driver’s license, good driving record and your own car insurance. Requires a 4 year College degree. Demonstrate communication skills with a high level of writing, verbal and presentation skills. Being a good listener, able to predict effects of your own words and actions, being considerate of the needs of others, and also being flexible with a can adjust personal style is required to be effective. Must be able to access customer information through computers, utilizing appropriate technology to effectively communicate with customers and coworkers. Computer skills are a must.
